Hereby Poczta Polska presents the next post-stamp of the „Polish Cities” series, with Gorzow Wielkopolski which celebrates the 750 anniversary of its existence. Gorzów Wielkopolski is the largest city of the Lubuskie Province, located a little over fifty kilometers from the German border. The city is an important industrial centre and a place of numerous investments. It is the city of greenery – with 12 parks of the area of almost 130 ha. The exact date of the city’s location is 2 July 1257.
